Welcome to the iHelp International
Empowering Futures by programs that help women, newcomers, and kids to build a vibrant community where every member feels belonged
Who we are
We are a non-profit organization founded in 2010, our commitment is rooted in providing essential support and opportunities for growth to all, fostering a place where everyone can flourish. At iHelp International, our passion is empowering the vibrant community of Waterloo Region. We offer a diverse range of services that make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents of this region.
What we do
We offer English conversation and English tutoring for women, ethnocultural education for children, social gatherings for seniors, and settlement help for newcomers. Our programs are designed to help everyone in the community gain access to the resources they need to thrive. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to succeed, and we are proud to be part of the Waterloo Region community. We look forward to continuing to serve and support our neighbours.
Our Impact
We’ve worked on improving the lives of over 25,000 people through direct practice.
Young people from different backgrounds have a huge impact on us and all our activities. They highlight those parts of the society that are broken, so we can help them in all possible ways to regain hope and flourish in life.
We help the community
We offer community members the opportunity to acquire affirmation and authentication letters through our help, following the necessary legal procedures. This includes assisting in the completion of legal forms and with registration requirements.
We provide you with care
In the journey of today’s youth, providing a supportive hand and accurate guidance is essential at every step. This is exactly where we step in, extending our care to them as if they were our own, and supporting them through our programs and activities.
We assist with education
As a component of our ethnocultural initiative, we engage with small groups of children to educate them about their cultural heritage, mother tongue (including reading and writing), and various other cultural concepts which will help them to maintain contact with their cultures.
We provide guidance
We offer support and assistance to community members whenever required, including tasks like locating housing, immigrant services, community services, and
government document applications (such as passports, citizenships,
and other documents).
Our numbers that speak
We have numbers that push us to give in our best and make sure that we break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.
As we continue to serve and support the Waterloo Region community, we do so with pride, knowing that our efforts continue through generations. The opportunities we provide aren’t just resources; they’re steppingstones to brighter futures.
